Xhorse Dolphin XP005L Cutting Setting, Clamp Calibration, Cutting Calibration

In this article, we learn how to complete setting instructions on Xhorse Dolphin XP-005L cutting machine. 


Step 1. Power on Xhorse Dolphin XP005L

Power on Xhorse Dolphin XP005L, raise the tablet, lift up the protective cover.

Step 2. Dolphin XP005L Cutting Setting.

Select "System" -> Machine Parameter -> Cutting Setting (Spindle speed: Medium; Move speed: Medium, Cutter diameter: 1.5mm; Led status: white, buzzer switch: open, then click on "Save".

Step 3. M1 / M2 Clamp Calibration

1. M1 Clamp Calibration

Insert the probe and the cutter to the top. (There's no need for height adjustment) .

Back to "System", then "Machine Parameter", then " M1 Clamp calibration" , please make sure the key stick to the first mark line, then click on "Start", clamp calibration completed.

2. M2 Clamp Calibration

Make sure Side A is upwards.

Go to "System", then "Machine Parameter", then " M2 Clamp calibration", then "Start".

Clamp calibration completed.

Rotate M2 to Side B is upwards, then tap "Continue". 

Clamp calibration completed.

Rotate M2 to Side C is upwards, then tap "Continue". 

Clamp calibration completed.

Rotate M2 to Side D is upwards, then tap "Continue". 

Clamp calibration completed.

Step 4. Xhorse Dolphin XP005L Cutting Calibration.

Put on the protective cover, select "Cutting calibration",

Select "1.5mm", and then "ok" and then "Start".

Cutting calibration first steps finished, please continue. 

Clean the metal shavings.

Tap "Continue" 

Cutting calibrating... 

Cutting calibration complete.

Xhorse Dolphin XP005L setting job is done. Pull down the tablet and put on the protective cover.

This article will guide you on how to use Xhorse Dolphin XP-005/XP-005L to cut plastic keys. Let's take HU66 as an example. Part 1. Use Dolphin XP-005 to cut Choose "Vehicle Database" >> "Skoda">> "Fabia" >>"HU66" Follow the prompts. This post explains how to Micro-adjust biting distance and cutting depth for the Xhorse Dolphin XP005 key cutting machine via Xhorse App. Sometimes the key biting doesn’t reach our demand, so in Dolphin XP005 we get such an option to adjust it. Before performing Cutting Key in Xhorse App, we should prepare the following steps: 1. Click “Parameter Micro-adjust”, select the specific biting position;  2.
