Xhorse Dolphin XP-005 Decode VINFAST Fadil Key in 2 Mins

How to use Xhorse Dolphin XP-005 Key Cutting Machine to decode a VINFAST Fadil key? Following I’m gonna use VVDI Key Tool Max to control the machine as demonstration.

Connect to Dolphin XP-005 via Bluetooth.

Fix the key to be decoded on clamp firmly. Click 

Universal key duplication >> 4 track internal >> Tip align >> M2-A Clamp >> Decode key

Tap Cutting Preview to check the track on key blank.

As you can see, it’s same as the working key.


To continue cutting a new key, just replace a blank key on clamp, and click “Cutting key” on bottom.

Key decode is quite simple and fast in 2 minutes. For key types that are not in database, we can follow the same way.


Dolphin XP-005 plus VVDI Key Tool Max is not a must, but should be much cost-effective.

This article will guide you on how to use Xhorse Dolphin XP-005/XP-005L to cut plastic keys. Let's take HU66 as an example. Part 1. Use Dolphin XP-005 to cut Choose "Vehicle Database" >> "Skoda">> "Fabia" >>"HU66" Follow the prompts. Key fixed: Clean metal filings and use your finger to press the blank key on the clamp and make sure it is flat. Enter the bitting code: 12311324, then choose "Plastic key/Aluminum key cutting" to continue. Then cut the key according to the prompt and it's done! Part 2. This post explains how to Micro-adjust biting distance and cutting depth for the Xhorse Dolphin XP005 key cutting machine via Xhorse App. Sometimes the key biting doesn’t reach our demand, so in Dolphin XP005 we get such an option to adjust it. Before performing Cutting Key in Xhorse App, we should prepare the following steps: 1. Click “Parameter Micro-adjust”, select the specific biting position;  2. After adjusting, click “Cut by single-biting”; 3. Select a correct code >> Select this biting >> Continue; 4. Start cutting processing, and wait… 5. The blade will only cut the code we just selected, now 100% completed!
