Right Way To Place Key Blank On Xhorse Key Cutting Machine Clamp

Some users don’t know the right way to place a key blank on Xhorse Key Cutting Machine clamps. Considering misplacement may cause key moving or cutter failed to cut keys. Below we will demonstrate the correct position to install a key blank.

Question

If I was putting key blank on Dolphin XP-007 clamp like this, in front, the cutters cannot touch both keys. But in the back, both can be touched.

1.Please notice to place key blank on the upper stair. It’s wrong position to put into bottom groove.

2.Remember to tighten key blank to fix it on. The left upper groove is also workable.

Attached the correct key placement location on Dolphin II M5 clamp. Most Xhorse key cutting machines are follow the same way.
